A Northern Beaches local, Kris is a senior solicitor at Karim + Nicol Lawyers. Prior to becoming a defence lawyer, he spent many years in the criminal jurisdiction as a prosecutor, providing him with valuable and differentiated experience.
Kris brings over two decades of extensive experience in criminal law. He began his career with the NSW Police, serving as a detective involved in high-profile murder and fraud investigations. Kris is the recipient of several awards recognising his meticulous and high quality investigative work.
Kris then worked as a police prosecutor appearing in all matters across our NSW Local courts, including Mudgee, Dubbo, Manly and the Downing Centre. He further expanded his legal expertise at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, where regularly appeared in the Local and District Court, handling sentence hearings and appeals.
