Nadia co-founded Karim + Nicol Lawyers with the goal of establishing a new generation of criminal defence lawyers. Nadia has successfully defended clients facing charges across the full spectrum of the law. She has a vast criminal practice including Local and Children’s Court matters, as well as complex State and Commonwealth prosecutions in superior courts. Nadia has appeared in a number of criminal cases ranging from serious sex offences, commercial drug supply, armed robbery, murder and serious assaults.

Having spent most of her career in the court room, Nadia is well respected by the profession and judiciary. Nadia is known for her persuasive advocacy, ability to simplify, scrupulous preparation and professionalism. Following the completion of her law degree at the University of NSW, Carrie has worked in the Local, Children’s, District and Supreme Courts of NSW. She is recognised as a highly effective and determined advocate, appearing in numerous sentences, bail applications and defended hearings.

Kris brings over two decades of extensive experience in criminal law. He began his career with the NSW Police, serving as a detective involved in high-profile murder and fraud investigations. Kris is the recipient of several awards recognising his meticulous and high quality investigative work.

Kris then worked as a police prosecutor appearing in all matters across our NSW Local courts, including Mudgee, Dubbo, Manly and the Downing Centre. He further expanded his legal expertise at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, where regularly appeared in the Local and District Court, handling sentence hearings and appeals.

With significant experience in all areas of criminal and traffic law, Kris is a valuable asset to Karim + Nicol Lawyers. His comprehensive background, combined with his passion for justice, enables him to provide our clients with exceptional legal advice and representation.
